Plentiful Waters

There are countless IGFA world records held in Caribbean waters and the surrounding waters of St. Croix are just as plentiful. St. Croix has a unique underwater bathymetry that goes from very shallow nearshore to extremely deep only one mile from shore. Due to this unique bathymetry St. Croix has some of the most productive fisheries in the Caribbean. A normal day trip can yield a variety of fish including wahoo, mahi-mahi, yellowfin tuna, marlin, swordfish and numerous deep water fish species.

Captain Colt Cook has been fishing offshore since he was able to walk. He grew up offshore fishing in Texas waters for wahoo, tuna, marlin, swordfish and deep dropping for creatures from the abyss. He is a stickler for details and won't stop until there are fish on the deck. First Mate Brooke Myers has been fishing with Capt. Cook for nearly a decade and has learned all of the tricks of the trade. She has also become a highly skilled videographer and can capture any fishing moment in high definition.

A Fishing Machine

The Panga boat design has been around since the 1960's and is a engineering marvel of the aquatic world. Countless years went into designing a safe, fuel efficient hull and since it's inception over 50 years ago, the panga still has a reputation as one of the most seaworthy vessels ever built. Lone Star Lady is a 2015 custom built 26' Imemsa Panga. She was built with nothing but fishing in mind her layout shows off her fishing curves. The fuel efficient hull allows this boat to be propelled with minimal horsepower, which translates into saving for the customer.
